Capital Campaign Kickoff

Join us for our capital campaign kickoff event at the Library's Annex on Thursday, January 26th, from 4 to 6. We'll have refreshments, plus a few brief remarks at 5. You'll hear the latest updates on our expansion project and have the opportunity to tour the building. I hope to see you there!

Newest OWWL Enhancement

Have you noticed the latest enhancement to our OWWL catalog? It's ChiliFresh Review Engine. Made possible by a Harold Hacker Fund grant to the Pioneer Library System, this service lets you give star ratings and write reviews on the books you read. It's also a great way to find that next great book. I'd love to hear your experiences using ChiliFresh.

Friends Group Meets Tuesday

 Come join us at 1:30 tomorrow - Tuesday, January 17th - for the monthly meeting of the Friends of the Sodus Community Library.  

Holiday Closing

 

 The Sodus Community Library will be closed Monday, January 16th, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  As always, our OWWL catalog, your account, and OWWL2go downloadables will all be available.

Library Board Meets Thursday

The Sodus Community Library's Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. this Thursday, January 12th, in the Library's meeting room. Board meetings are open to the public.

Needlework Group Resumes

Come join us from 10 a.m. to 12 noon this Friday, January 6th as our needlework group resumes. We work on all types of needlecrafts - bring what you're working on or start a new project. (We'd love it if you'd also bring a friend!) The group will continue meeting Friday mornings throughout the winter months, so come when you can.
